Lunacy Audio have announced the launch of their latest CUBE expansion pack, Canopies. Alongside the release, the company have also announced their Fall Sale, which will see discounts of around 40% applied to their entire product range until 25 October 2023.
Canopies is the latest expansion for CUBE, Lunacy Audio’s flagship sample-morphing vector synth, and has been created by acclaimed artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Benn Jordan, aka the Flashbulb. It offers a curated collection of “tactile plucks, earthy hybrid tones and luminous electronic flourishes” inspired by the woodland areas surrounding Benn’s home in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
The add-on includes 15 new sound sources featuring wooden acoustic instruments such as guitars, vihuelas, kalimbas and more, and offers a range of experimental articulations, strikes and plucks, which have been further enhanced with minimal synthesizer textures. 50 presets are included, which are said to embody Benn’s signature sonic palette and aesthetic, striking a balance between organic and electronic sound sources.
During the Fall Sale, CUBE will be available to purchase for $99, with Artist Collection Expansion Packs priced at $19, and Lunacy Packs reduced to $29. The companies Everything Bundle, which includes the instrument and all of the available Expansion Packs, is also discounted to $249.
