European pro audio makers Heritage Audio introduce the i73 PRO family, the first USB-C audio interfaces to feature built-in Class A 1073-style preamps. This new desktop lineup comprises the i73 PRO ONE, i73 PRO 2 and the flagship i73 PRO EDGE, with each designed to bring the analogue warmth of the 'Golden Era' of recording into the hands of modern musicians, producers, and audio engineers.
Heritage Audio's 73-style preamps feature a versatile three-way input design. This allows for either a mic input with 70dB of gain, a clean line input, or the dynamic JEFT DI input located on the front of the device for recording electric guitars or bass.
The entry point to the range is the i73 PRO ONE, with 2-in/4-out capability and one of Heritage Audio’s transformer-balanced Class A preamps. The i73 PRO 2 offers two integrated preamps in a 2-in/4-out format and upgrades the design to feature two combined XLR/jack connections, and the flagship i73 PRO EDGE adds two further line inputs on jack connections, with the full 12-in/16-out capability made possible digitally over ADAT.
All three models feature instrument inputs, stereo monitoring and headphone outputs, with the i73 PRO EDGE packing two instrument inputs and two headphone outputs. Each includes switches to control +48v phantom power, Pad and Phase, as well as Mono, Mute and Dim buttons on the output stage.

Heritage Audio ensure that users of all three devices experience a full-analogue signal path reminiscent of recording's 'Golden Era.' This signal then passes through high-quality AD/DA conversion, for recording, mixing, and playback at up to 24-bit/192kHz.
Every i73 PRO purchase also gains access to an impressive bundle of premium plug-ins in AAX/AU/VST3 formats. These include BritStrip (channel strip), HA 15 PRO (bass amp), HA 240 Gold Foil Verb and Heritage TAPEoPLEX.
