Roland present the Bridge Cast X, a dynamic addition to their expanding Bridge Cast lineup designed for online gaming and livestreaming enthusiasts. Functioning as an interface and connection hub, the Bridge Cast X offers a professional AV solution for content creators engaged in online gaming, podcasting, vlogging and more.
This innovative desktop interface allows simultaneous connectivity for computers, games consoles and other video devices, designed to eliminate the need to repatch for different streaming scenarios.
We covered the announcement of the Bridge Cast earlier this month, and the Bridge Cast X builds on the connectivity and mixing features of its smaller sibling. With two USB-C ports, two HDMI inputs and an HDMI Thru connector for external screens, the Bridge Cast X can be put to use in a wide range of video applications. The device also features an XLR mic input which supports +48v phantom power, six assignable control pads and access to thousands of royalty-free backing music pieces via the BGM CAST service on Roland Cloud.
The companion Bridge Cast app further extends functionality, offering quick and easy access to mic and audio processing, voice transformer settings, Game EQ presets and more. It’s also possible to re-assign hardware controls and save/recall configurations for different games and streaming audiences.
Roland have provided a multitude of connection options on the Bridge Cast X's rear panel, including three HDMI sockets and an XLR microphone input with switchable +48v phantom power.

The Bridge Cast X is set to hit the US market in February with a retail price of $499.99available now retailing at €509/£439.
